The chords of the howl blended together beautifully as I also raised my head to join the song. It echoed through the clearing and rose into the still air. One by one the rest of the pack dropped off the note until all that was left was the Alpha and me. I wished it would last forever, but I never get my wish. I dropped the note too as the Alpha sent the message to end before him. I stepped farther into the clearing, eyes following me until I now stood before the Alpha.
